Yoga makes a difference

 

We are all seeking for ways to improve the quality of our lives.

Although we have a great quality of material life with more access to comfort that ever before it comes at the price of high levels of stress and lack of wellbeing. Practicing yoga is so relevant to our current disposition. In the time it takes to do a normal workout session in the gym or run a 10 km circuit you can improve the health of not only your body but your mind as well.

In a yoga session you learn not only to stretch and strengthen your body but also to control your mind. You learn how you can let go of negative thoughts and emotions, the exhausting patterns that go round and round without resolve. Your mind becomes freer and more able to be really present. You are able to enjoy every day life more, to be kind to yourself and to others. You are affected less by difficult circumstances. You are able to relax and rest deeply when you choose.

Yoga is unlike any other discipline in that the time you take to exercise you can contribute to your overall wellbeing; after all we need both our minds and bodies to be well to have a deep sense of health.

            Retreat Yourself  

One day Yoga and Meditation retreats

at Coast Yoga

Cost: $110 including lunch and elevenses.

The day consists of two yoga classes, one dynamic in the moring and one restorative in the afternoon interspersed with meditation instruction and practice.

Bookings are essential. Please call us for a registration form

Learn to Meditate


Wednesday from 5 - 6p

The course is designed for those new to meditation and those who would like to regularly meet with a group to practice

Gentle stretches to warm the body and calm the mind. Mindfulness techniques to help you let go of stressfull thoughts and patterns

            Mothers and Babes  

Come with your babe and do some yoga,baby massage and gentle movement. Yoga and pilates help the pelvic floor and abdominals gain strength and stretching your whole body can relieve the tension and stress of tiredness and constantly nurtuing a little one. The class is supportive and friendly for all mothers. You can do yoga, cuddle , feed at your own pace.

All workshops must be booked and prepayed at least one week prior to commencement.
This can be done at the centre or over the phone with a valid credit card. All other classes must be booked the
first time that you attend. Please arrive 15mins early to your first class so that you can settle in and fill in a registration form.
